CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY AND FEES
Mr. Albrecht accepts engagements to the exclusion of scheduling other work during the time period reserved. Accordingly, the following applies to all matters.
All cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated in writing (fax or e-mail) with the agreement of all parties expressly noted. Please let us know immediately if we need to cancel or reschedule the Mediation Conference.
In the event of cancellation and rescheduling within seven calendar days before the scheduled Mediation Conference, the following cancellation or rescheduling fees are not waived unless another appointment can be filled in the reserved slot.
PAYMENT AND ADVANCE DEPOSIT POLICY
Unless alternate arrangements are made at least seven calendar days prior to mediation, payment of fees and expenses shall be paid at the conclusion of the Mediation Conference.
The attorneys representing parties in this matter or their law firms are responsible to ensure that the Mediator is paid in a timely fashion, and if not, the attorney (or law firm, if the attorney practices in a firm) will be personally liable for said fees and costs, including any cancellation fees.
Pro se parties (those not represented by attorneys) must pay no later than the conclusion of the Mediation conference. An advance deposit may be required to secure payment by pro se parties.
Invoices are typically emailed after the conclusion of the Mediation conference. However, in cases where Albrecht Mediation Services, in our sole discretion, believes it to be necessary, an advance deposit may be required from a party or its counsel. Failure to pay any required advance deposit by the payment deadline will result in cancellation of the Mediation.
